Dustin-Leigh Konzelman is a 23-year-old magna cum laude graduate of California Baptist University, with a major in speech communications. She was a member of Alpha Chi for being in the top 10 percent of her college class and made the president's list from 2002-2005. She was awarded the Golden Microphone excellent speakers' award, participated on the speech and debate team and was a varsity cross-country athlete at California Baptist University.

Dustin-Leigh's career ambition is to obtain a master's and doctorate degree in counseling and eventually open her own private practice. She would also enjoy teaching at the university level. In her junior year of college, Dustin-Leigh was hired as California's youngest ever unit marketing director for Chick-fil-A and enjoyed brand marketing and event planning until she was crowned Miss California in June 2005.

Dustin-Leigh has been a performing member of the Konzelman Family Band (www.konzelmans.com) and has taken part in a five-week European Music Tour, which included a performance at the International Music Festival in Baja, Hungary. Other band tours include Epcot Center, Disney World, Wintergrass (one of the nation's largest Bluegrass festivals), state fairs and many other venues and benefits. Dustin-Leigh has been a private music instructor for the last eight years teaching both piano and violin.
