My mom says I started singing at age two and haven't been quiet since.  Singing has been a huge part of my life since before I can remember (and I have the home videos to prove it).   Music is one of the rare outlets I find can express anything and everything.  Outside of singing, I compete in collegiate parliamentary debate for Point Loma Nazarene University and am ranked among the top debaters in the nation. 

I have an amazing family.  My parents have been married for, what seems like, forever!   I am eternally grateful for their support and all they have taught me, especially their encouragement to follow my dreams.  I have two siblings – a brother, JT, 15, and a sister, Jenny, 13.   I would say that these two teens are probably some of the most talented on earth, but I am a little biased! 

My parents got me involved in tutoring under-privileged children when I was a fourth grader, helping teach a second grader to read every Tuesday and Thursday after school.   It was my mother that instilled in me the belief that to whom much is given, much is expected.  I hold that close to my heart even today as I tutor local high school students in English to help boost their chances to getting into college.   I can't tell you how amazing it feels to help someone succeed like that!
